My love for motorcycles started when I was just a kid. My Nanny picked up a little Honda 50 at a yard sale, and my dad was the one who taught me how to ride it. I can still remember him sitting me on the tank of a motorcycle and ripping up the old mountain road we lived on—I loved every second of it. Later, when I was a young teen, he bought a bike and took me on a ride. The thrill of going fast set a spark in me that’s never gone out.
Along with my dad’s influence, my Uncle Howard—the biker of the family—played a huge role in shaping my passion for motorcycles. Between my Nanny’s gift, my dad’s encouragement, and my uncle’s example, riding quickly became more than just a hobby. It became a way of life.
That passion eventually grew into Broken Chains Cycles. For me, this shop is about more than turning wrenches. It’s about freedom, family, and faith. The name Broken Chains is a reminder that through Christ, we’ve been set free, and I want that hope to shine through in everything we do here.
At Broken Chains Cycles, every motorcycle is treated like it’s my own. Whether it’s a repair to keep you on the road, a custom build to bring your vision to life, or simply being a place where riders feel welcome, my mission is to serve the motorcycle community with integrity, craftsmanship, and heart.
